A nine‑year‑old child is the perfect embodiment of the proverb, “Don’t be fooled by a pepper’s size—break it and see how hot it is.” They possess ideas that we couldn’t even begin to imagine. Because we don’t expect them to transition out of childhood and into the new pre‑pubescence stage. This phase—marked by mood swings, all‑or‑nothing behavioral shifts, changes in the way they relate to others, and every aspect born of the new emotions our daughters are experiencing—is one that parents, together with teachers and school staff, safely guide them through by relying on sound, authentic upbringing.
Our second graders weave discipline into the art of living and learning, thoughtfully planning each part of their daily routines and collaborating in teams. With the dedicated guidance of their mentor and homeroom teachers, they’re expertly supported and steered toward success.
As students enter this stage, their learning and development horizons expand—they embark on their first formal school years enriched by structured educational and life-skills programs, informal learning opportunities, and a variety of extracurricular activities.
In our Second Pre-K program, children take their first formal steps into school life and gradually prepare for elementary education—building readiness in reading and writing, foundational math and science skills, adapting to a more structured school environment, and fostering independent social interactions, all within a rich educational and developmental framework.

Our school’s mission to guide our children toward maturity shapes our objectives, roadmap, lesson plans, parent enrichment programs, and teacher training around the timeless motto lifelong learning In addition to this enduring cornerstone, our commitment to the earth care principle guides every aspect of our work—protecting and nurturing the planet, preventing environmental harm, and weaving this focus into lesson plans, parent workshops, teacher training, and even the school’s administrative and operational practices. For example, our educators and staff demonstrate this commitment by using checklists and even eliminating paper-based homework altogether—submitting assignments via the school’s virtual platform. At Afradokht, we guide our own and our children’s life stories with this perspective.
